Getting Started: Register for Your CompuCycle Auction Account

 

To place bids on CompuCycle’s refurbished laptops, desktops, scrap, and commodity lots, you’ll first need to create a free account.

Once registered, you’ll receive a verification email. Logging in gives you full access to all open auctions, bid history, and messaging tools.

How to Use Your Auction Dashboard

1. Navigate Your Account

After logging in, head to My Dashboard. Here’s what you’ll find in the left-hand menu:

  • Dashboard – Quick overview of your account

  • Orders, Downloads, Address, Account details – Manage your profile, billing, and order history

  • Auctions – Where your bidding world lives

  • Log out – Securely exit your account

2. Account Details & Resetting Passwords

Keeping your account details up to date ensures smooth bidding and secure access.

  • Here you can:

    • Update your name and contact information

    • Change your email address

    • Edit billing and shipping addresses (under Address)

Be sure to save any changes before leaving the page.

3. Auctions Section & Tabs

Under Auctions, you’ll see tabs to sort your activity:

  • Bids Active – Auctions you’re currently bidding on

  • Bids Won – Items you’ve successfully bid on

  • Bids Lost – Auctions where your bid was outpaced

  • Watchlist – Items you’re interested in tracking without bidding yet

You can also export your active bids as a spreadsheet using the Export Active Auctions (CSV) link.

Now that your account is set up, it’s time to explore the Shop page—your starting point for all live auctions.

Browse the Shop

  • Head to Shop in the main menu

  • Use the search bar or category filters (like CPUs, Laptops, Scrap) to zero in on what you’re after

  • Each listing shows a preview with:

    • Product photo

    • Starting bid

    • Countdown timer so you know exactly when it closes

Filter to Find What You Need

Looking for something specific? Use the filters to sort by category, price, or auction status to quickly uncover the lots that matter most to you.
