All electronics sales include a 30-day repair or replacement warranty. Educational sales have extended warranties (1, 3, or 5 years) with advance exchanges and shipping included. The warranty is explicitly stated on the sales order and invoice.
Advance exchanged units are billable if the defective unit isn’t returned to CompuCycle within 30 days of the customer receiving the replacement.
You can return/exchange a product for up to 30 days from the date of purchase. Receipts are required for all returns. Non-Defective asset returns may carry a 20% restocking fee. Software is not returnable. Return Policy for eCommerce sites (i.e. eBay) are posted on the site and communicated to the customer using the respective platform.
Collectible and Specialty Electronics may be returned at no cost to the buyer.
The following return procedure is applicable to following categories: domestic returns (from eCommerce-3rd party portal and direct sales from CompuCycle portal), educational returns, and international returns.
1. Requests for returns are handled electronically via the online or via call to their CompuCycle sales representative.
2. Customer or CompuCycle sale representative, will submit Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) ticket on www.compucycle.com following the steps below.
- Visit CompuCycle Home Page
- Under Resources tab select RMA Support
- Login/Sign in to your account or create an account, if it does not exist
- Select New Ticket Request
- Fill out and submit the return request form
- CompuCycle team with then reach out to the customer with further information
3. Requests for returns must be received within 30 days of the ship date.
4. The customer shall be given an RMA number to be listed on the returned package. No package will be accepted without an RMA number written on the outside of the package. RMA numbers are only valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
5. Refunds for credit card/PayPal/online payments will be refunded on the same credit card/account.
6. The return policy will be clearly stated online for customers.
7. The return policy will be listed on the sales receipt/packing slip.
8. Once received, returned merchandise will be stored on the return rack and recorded on the RMA Log.
9. Returned merchandise will be evaluated by the testing department. The condition will be recorded on the RMA Log. (returned to inventory, returned to testing, defective/scrapped, etc.)
