Looking for a Saturday electronics recycling event in Houston? The City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department hosts two monthly community electronics recycling events. CompuCycle is proud to support the Houston community by providing electronics recycling services at these collection events.

Whether you’re recycling an old computer, retiring outdated office equipment, or cleaning out your garage, these events provide Houston residents with a convenient way to recycle electronics responsibly.

Saturday Electronics Recycling Schedule

The City of Houston currently offers two monthly electronics recycling events.

Where can I recycle electronics in Kingwood, TX?

Kingwood-area residents can recycle electronics for free at the Kingwood Park & Ride, 3210 West Lake Houston Parkway, Kingwood, TX 77339, on the 1st Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is run by the City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department, with CompuCycle supporting collection and processing. No appointment is needed.

Where can I recycle electronics near Clear Lake, TX?

Clear Lake area residents can recycle electronics for free at the Ellington/Clear Lake Recycling Center, 246 Loop Rd, Houston, TX 77034, on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is run by the City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department, with CompuCycle supporting collection and processing. No appointment is needed.

Do I need to be a City of Houston resident to drop off electronics?

These events are provided through the City of Houston’s Solid Waste Management Department and are intended for Houston-area residents. If you live outside the city, CompuCycle’s Houston facility still accepts electronics from the general public during the week.

Is my personal data safe when I drop off a computer or phone for recycling?

Yes. CompuCycle securely destroys data on all devices with storage capability as part of our e-Stewards certified process. We still recommend backing up your data and performing a factory reset before drop-off, just as an extra precaution.

What if I can’t make it to a Saturday recycling event in Houston?
