We are now officially 9 days away from one of our BIGGEST e-cycle events of the year – the ABC13 Earth Day E-Cycling Drive!
This year celebrates ABC-13’s 9th annual event, and CompuCycle has been a part of this event for 8 years now! We encourage Houstonians to drop-off their e-waste materials to help do their part to make Houston a better place to live.
Each year this event gets bigger and better, and every year, we try to break our previous year’s record. Just take a look at these numbers from previous years:
2014 = 138,174 pounds collected & 1,563 cars
2013 = 107,696 pounds collected & 1,162 cars
The Earth Day E-Cycling Drive will be held on Friday, April 17th, from 6 am – 3 pm at the ABC-13 Studios 3310 Bissonnet. Also, make sure to tune in at 9 am for an hour-long LIVE TV special!
This drive is for consumers and residents only, not for businesses—no trailers or flatbeds. If businesses wish to contribute to this event, deliveries can be made at our main facility, located at 7700 Kempwood Drive, or contact us at 713-869-6700.
We are looking forward to another successful event!
